Craigslist Personals: Ads You Should Flag Immediately Type 4
Screen shot below shows another obvious scammer ad in the personals. It usually features an attractive body or, at least, an attractive textual description. There is no location, in order to appeal to the widest audience. But the real indicator is the yahoo e-mail address it provides.
Real people just don't give out their e-mail addresses right off the bat, unless they are real naive. In fact, after talking to real people through CL, I found that they won't even give you their email address after a few e-mail exchanges. In fact, I have a hard time to get most real people to answer the most mundane personal questions, like the city they live in and their favorite colors.
People have a natural tendency to guard their private information, no matter how insensitive it is. To see an e-mail address posted in a CL ad is, well, inhuman. Flag this ad!
